When you say "requires," I'm assuming you mean that you can't play it comfortably with its default controls (touch screen).
There's always the 3DS Recommendation Thread, which includes every retail and eShop 3DS game above a 72 MetaCritic/GameRankings score, separated by genre.
Don't forget that the 3DS is fully backwards compatible, so if you have any questions about some great DS games, there's a link to the DS Recommendation Thread in the OP.

Fire Emblem is a good choice. My patience paid off and will get Fire Emblem too with the Black 3DS.
