So you like RPGs and really good games? Then stay away from Paper Mario Sticker Star at all cost!

I disagree.  I liked Sticker Star.  The traditional RPG element may be lost, but what really makes Paper Mario is still present.

What is that exactly? Sure it's still somewhat humorous and creative looking, but that's about it. Not worth dropping $40, especially when there are so many better games.

Art.

There are people who can appreciate art and those who can't. Then there are people who can recognize art and those who can't. And then there are people like you who wouldn't know art if it crawled up their ass, died and blamed Wii Fit.

Never said it wasn't art, plus art can still be bad.

Here are some great RPG's on the console:
Shin Megami Tensei IV
Shin Megami Tensei: Soul Hackers
Etrian Odyssey IV

Here are some overall great games on the console:
Animal Crossing:New Leaf
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
Mario Kart 7
Super Mario 3D Land
Ocarina of Time 3D
Starfox 64 3D

I LOVED Paper Mario NOT for its RPG elements (though it was fun and good), not for its story (though I did enjoy it), and not for the partners.  I loved Paper Mario because I loved the environment and just the atmosphere of it all.  In a way, you could say Rol is right about the art thing.  The way the game plays is generally still the same, and I also really liked the music.  Sure, the game would have been better if it were one open world, had a more intruiging story, had levels (and all that jazz), and partners.  BUT, these are NOT what make the game for me.  So, yes, it could have been better but to me, it was still a really good game.

All that's perfectly fine, but games are meant to be played not just looked at, so by definition it is a bad game.

Uhh, looking throughout the environments and solving the puzzles and whatever is gameplay.  Also, you just called Journey a bad game.

Looking around/solving puzzles is only a part of Sticker Star's gameplay, and I never even mentioned Journey lol.

Ugh... what's with all these people getting consoles recently?! (In reality, it was only two threads...)

Anyhow, since I think you like RPG's, I would recommend pre-ordering Pokemon X/Y and buying SMT IV, Tales of the Abyss, and maybe even Etrian Odyssey games. (Did they come out in NA yet?)

If you like Mario (which you should) then buy every Mario game on the 3DS, except Mario Tennis, stay far far away from that. Many of them are really quite good.

Fixed.
