lolrofl @ people saying this and that should not be on the list. It is their list of games that got perfect scores and not yours. When you make you make your list. Edge is not going to come and say replace this with that. Just saying.

Just to the "new" gamers nows how this game was EPIC...

I wasted a lot of minutes of my life just in that screen pushing this big nose with N64 controller (in my opinion the best controller ever created).

Mass Effect 2 isnt good enough to be on this list. Its not even the best Mass Effect.

Anyway...

Id say Edge used to give 10's to genre defining games. Games that literally perfect or revolutionise their genre. The peak at the time.

Super Mario 64 did this.
Gran Turismo did this.
Ocarina of Time did this.
Halo: Combat Evolved did this.
Half Life 2 did this.
Halo 3 did this.
The Orange Box did this.
Super Mario Galaxy did this.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 did this.

The rest? You could argue against.

Also, 10 games scored a 10 since September 2007. Thats 10 games in just under 6 Years compared to 5 games in 14 Years beforehand.

not bad really , just put Uncharted 2 , RE 4 and RDR instead of bayonetta , RB and Halo 3 .

So essentially first party owns? The only Xbox game that could make the list is Halo.

Actually standards increased with the Last of Us. You just dont like storylines its seems.

Zelda: Skyward Sword and Beyonetta definitelly dont belong on that list.

and Uncharted 2 definitely does

Rock Band 3, Skyward Sword, GTA 4, and Bayonetta should not be on that list. The rest are okay.

I agree, beyonetta doesn't belong on the list. Game was great but not that great. I say SOTC belong there more than it does. What about MGS3?
