Should've been renamed to "last 8 years." Come on, there WERE game systems before 2005 lol. Yeah they named Ocarina, GT, and SM64 but really?

Idc what all of you think, Skyward Sword deserves to be on that list imo. SS is a masterpiece, remarkable music, charming world and characters, unique controls (love it or hate it), a colorfull eye candy. The game is over 30hours of content, has the best story of all previous Zeldas. Some of these dongeons and puzzles are some of the best the series has ever seen and unlike previous games the overworld in SS is not a boring empty vast field of nothingness where there is nothing to do. The best part of Zelda games have always been the dongeon that incorporated the real chalenges and puzzles and in SS the overworld areas felt like dongeons.

It's reasonable, I don't think before Mario 64 in the last 20 years criteria. I don't have any. I'd put Super Mario Bros 3 in my top 10 but that was more than 20 years. Contra's close too and that wouldn't count either.

edit: Xcom came out in 94, so that would be in it. But, it's not that weird depending on your taste.

I disagree with GTA IV, LBP, Bayonetta, and Rock Band 3. I haven't played The Last of Us so I can't say anything about that. The rest are all deserving of 10's although I wouldn't give Skyward Sword a 10. I can see why someone else would though.

Not to be a dick but this list is a joke. Honestly. The games I just listed above are among the most overrated I've ever played. Hell, The Orange Box isn't even a game. It's 3 games, HALF LIFE 2 BEING ONE OF THEM I MIGHT ADD.
I don't know how to feel about this list. I might sound like a condescending jerk but can you expect me to take a list that has Halo 3 as one of the greatest games on it? The greatest games of the last twenty years? Here's mine.

Super Metroid, Metroid Prime, Earthbound, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy, TLOZ: Ocarina of Time, TLOZ: Majora's Mask, TLOZ: Wind Waker, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim, GTA: San Andreas, Batman Arkham City, Kingdom Hearts 2, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Uncharted 2, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, Rayman Origins.

Boom.

You cannot be taken seriously when you list Skyrim over Half Life 2. What a joke. Half Life 2 did a lot of things when it came out.
