On the PC you can't log into the Japanese version of the game at all outside of Japan afaik, to register for the Korean version you need a Korean Social Security Number. Even if the WiiU wasn't Region-locked, you wouldn't be able to play the game either way.

Yeah, you basically have to steal the Security Number from a South Korean (eg buy it on some very shady websites) or become a citizen of South Korea in order to play the game.

I don't know how this is supposed to work for the Japanese version of the game, though. Either way, even though the games don't have "hard" region locking (You can install the game on any PC afterall), you won't legally be able to play the game.

As such, no PS4 version surprises me. Particularly as the U got one at launch.

dont think it will leave japan, for either system. Im actually surprised its going to PS3 thought it would stay exclusive to Ninty systems.

Maybe sony will announce a PS4 version at tgs, final fantasy xiv was originally a PS3/PC title, till e3
