On the PC you can't log into the Japanese version of the game at all outside of Japan afaik, to register for the Korean version you need a Korean Social Security Number. Even if the WiiU wasn't Region-locked, you wouldn't be able to play the game either way.

Yeah, you basically have to steal the Security Number from a South Korean (eg buy it on some very shady websites) or become a citizen of South Korea in order to play the game.

"The game has a built-in IP blocker that prevents IP addresses outside of Japan from connecting to the server, but it is still possible for residents in other countries to connect."

I don't know how this is supposed to work for the Japanese version of the game, though. Either way, even though the games don't have "hard" region locking (You can install the game on any PC afterall), you won't legally be able to play the game.

MH Frontier G is a VERY bad game to argue against Nintendo's Region Lock
