I guess people haven't heard of that new way scientists have found to store data on a dvd. I believe you can store several TB's onto one single dvd.

Yes disc are use...but a 300 GB size? That's overkill for normal consumers.

that's needed for 4K movies especially 4K 3D HFR movies

well that would be good for some companies who want to achieve their data not only in some clouds or on paper. if they would be really so resistant against dust an maybe light and stuff like that i see how this would make sense.

but nothing really important for us consumers
