When the XB1 version of The Witness comes out, internet fanboys' heads are going to explode or something.

I dont really think this is surprising. Wasnt the game to be a timed exclusive so it would have come to the XBO sooner or later?

Is this a good thing? Witness?

I like/hated Braid. I don't think you can play it without having some of both. I would put as a 'should have.'

As far as consoles go, Ps4 was the only console planned with a chance of releasing on the X1 later. Now it's pretty much guaranteed for the X1 maybe not at the exact launch date of Ps4, but eventually. This is much better plan than canceling your game.

What I want to see is Transistor releasing on the X1 and/or 360. That's a game I can get excited for.

The reason I posted it is because there are a lot out there who think it is exlcusive. Just like Diablo 3.

It's always been a limited exclusive. Blow said from the start that it had a chance of appearing on the XO, just that he wasn't going to work on two consoles versions at the same time. He signed the timed exclusive contract simply because it would be a while before he could have an XO version out, anyway, so why not? He didn't get paid for that, by the way, except that it allowed him to appear on-stage during the PS4 reveal.

His comment was pretty funny, though. Some of the hatred directed toward him because he dared to criticize Microsoft a bit was fucking asinine.

Timed console exclusive no less, just in case it wasn't obvious enough lol. He made a blog post saying the timed deal on the PS4 didn't apply to the iOS and PC versions so pretty much confirmed that it was comint the the Xbone then and there.

But he also said that MS hadn't been in contact and he didn't have an XBone dev kit, but now that they are allowing self publish and every console is a dev kit there are no barriers.

Well, I'm glad. I like Jonathan Blow games a lot. Like...emm...Braid.

Yeah, I enjoyed Braid. Has he done any other game? Huh, no? Well.
