The large stone wall is at the bottom of an area where two enemies spit rocks at you. You have to make your way to the top, up there you will see a face on a snow wall. To the left of it is a narrow passage to get behind it (you need both leaders to get past it). The nose of the face is a bomb which can be pushed down the slope by 20 Pikmin.

What all am i supposed to do on day 4? I would have to complete the bridge to prevent Brittany from getting left behind at nightfall, right? Or am i supposed to leave her behind?

Are the others as great? The fact it's in HD makes it special from the others I guess..

You are allowed to leave her behind. I don't think anyone manages to unite the two characters within one day on their first playthrough. Brittany will stay with the yellow Pikmin in the cave, it's not like she hasn't survived a night on the planet before.

Also, if the game is making you angry, you are probably approaching it with all the wrong expectations.

Likely i'm trying to be too perfectionist, focused on doing everything in the time limit while not understanding what can even be accomplished in that time frame.

Should just focus on getting fruit and letting the other stuff sort itself...

pikmin 2 was my favorite GameCube game and this blows it out the water. Hard for me to see any other game besides Zelda topping this for me at any point in the WiiU's life

I did indeed have more fun today, and i'm slowly starting to get the hang of this. Only quit this time because i was being careless and the Phosbat sucked up like 20 Pikmin, but i got through two days before that without having to reset (cut it close on the 6th day, as i got sidetracked by the fire berries at the last second...)
