Look at Limbo, very simple, but well done and such a specific atmosphere. No music either, but the sounds make a great atmospher.
I like indie games because they can have a different and unexpected experience and/or gameplay. I also like short films for the same reason. With a blockbuster you usually know how it's going to go and end. With a short film or an indie game, they can be more creative, unorhadox and take risk because they aren't the financial risk that they need a sure fire winner.

When I say "I don't care about graphics" I mean from a technical standpoint, art-style is another category for me. When I say that I mean that a game can have graphics from 1995 and I don't have a problem with that as long as I like the art-style then. If both is bad then I have a complaint.
I do obviously like when a game has technical impressive graphics but they never decide if I buy a game or not.
