Well if you want surprises from E3 don't roam day in day out on gaming community forums... Simple as that... Jap comp don't keep much secret either... I haven't had true surprises from E3 for a long while... Don't really expect any... I want to see demo, content, and numbers... I miss numbers... E3 is suppose to be a professional expo may I remind you...

I read one of you talking about Japanese studio holding secrets better... Really secrets about what that we'll have an FF189 a Mario 32, a mortal combat extrem curling naked 6, a Naruto 25, a tales of my butt on facebook games?? A Kojima game of the century wanna be that sucks ass as game but a decent B movie cut scene fest??? Seriously I could stop watching Japanese gaming news for a decade and still not be surprised... They haven't been origins for ages over there... I use to love them, they've been doing rinse and repeat for ages on various cycle length... But nothing truly surprising..

Ya anyone who spends a large amount of time browsing gaming news and chatting in gaming forums is gonna find themselves short on surprises by default. That should be obvious to everyone. On the internet nothing stays secret/hidden for long. Hell we get news articles and discussions just when there's listings for jobs by the big publishers. Most things worth knowing you'll know before it's official. Doesn't matter if it's something like MCC from MS or something from Japan like Bloodborne or Scalebound. Everything leaked/rumored to various degrees.

If you really wanna be surprised then you hang out in the wrong places lol

Anyone else having problems with the cutscenes in Child of Light? My screen becomes completely grey except for a little square in a corner where you can VERY little of what is happening.

Kinda hoping Halo 5 mirrors Reach with big open areas and hopefully they put skulls back into single player to find. I'm hoping we get some nice RTS announcements at E3, haven't played one in a very long time.

I like indie games, and I like graphics.

Look at Limbo, very simple, but well done and such a specific atmosphere.  No music either, but the sounds make a great atmospher.

I like indie games because they can have a different and unexpected experience and/or gameplay.  I also like short films for the same reason.  With a blockbuster you usually know how it's going to go and end.  With a short film or an indie game, they can be more creative, unorhadox and take risk because they aren't the financial risk that they need a sure fire winner.

When I say "I don't care about graphics" I mean from a  technical standpoint, art-style is another category for me. When I say that I mean that a game can have graphics from 1995 and I don't have a problem with that as long as I like the art-style then. If both is bad then I have a complaint.

I do obviously like when a game has technical impressive graphics but they never decide if I buy a game or not.

What do all think about VR/AR having a place in MS' conference? How much time do you think they'll dedicate to it? Obviously we'll still get some Xbox games, but I'm kinda curious in the flow and the time spent. Thoughts?

They can always arrange a conference the day before E3 to talk about AR/VR and PC gaming.

I think people are overreacting about the VR/AR thing.

The way Halo did it with only 1 or 2 per level wasn't so bad though.

It's worse in my opinion. Because if it's an open world game if you missed any, you can just go searching (Orr in most cases buy a map) in leveled games you have to reply the level
