Sometimes I wonder if games like Banjo 3 wouldn't be new games for some just because they are rumoured. I mean, yes there are games rumoured and if exactly these will be announced then we heard about them before they got shown but if they show 5 games which are rumoured or 5 games as surprise because there weren't rumours before, in the end we see 5 new games never announced and shown before.

Sure, a surprise is more fun in that moment as to already expect something but in the end you will play the same game a year or two later with or without rumour, it doesn't change games and it won't change the fun you have with it when releasing.

It does obviously suck if they will show as example Banjo 3 and you hope not because you don't like Banjo but that's another story...

And they will also show something we don't know about yet as long as there won't be once again an employee releasing secret information.

I get your point but last e3 was ruined for me because of rumors

Well, just don't wait for one single day in gaming as if it would be christmas and birthday at once... I don't really care anymore which games I hear about on which day, in the end I care about which games there are overall (which could be also more but well)

Very true. It's not about what's rumored or not it's about showing new games, and preferably of course ones you're interested in. Maybe what's rumored is your cup of tea, maybe it's not. For those who do like the rumors, I doubt they'd wish for something else just for the sake of being surprised, after all it could be something they like less.

Personally, I don't know anything about Battletoads, and have never played Banjo game so hearing that stuff doesn't exactly knock my socks off so I'd prefer some other surprises, but for everyone like me there may well be another person going "Fuck ya! Those would be the best reveals ever!"

I agree, that's why I'm worried about it being everything (I don't like banjo, american football). I'm counting with them when I say what I say.

I wasn't surprised at all last year, by anything. But still had interesting stuff like Scalebound or Phantom dust.

You would have been surprised if they weren't heavily rumoured up the ass though right?

Yeah.

Maybe it's just me because I don't follow them so much but I have the feeling it's much easier for Japanese gaming companies to hold surprises back. Not sure if employees in Japan have more pride or something to hold information back even if the press and other people try to get some but I always have the feeling that there are more people in western companies who tell the secrets to those who try hard enough to get them.

They don't have as many attention seeking moles like American companys do.

One more "exclusive" indie for the list, #AxiomVerge being teased for XBO, by the dev, on Twitter.

Thankfully it will cease to matter, with the XBO version in the horizon. (Thankfully cause it looks like a mega drive/Snes game)

For the ones interested, halo wars is the GWG game for Japan...
