I have to admit I liked when I saw MS trademarking scalebound IP. They should know exclusives are important and owning IP is part of that process. Lets hope they keep making awesome games.

Quote from the Gamestop President about digital.

“We want to help ensure that our industry does not make the same mistake as other entertainment categories by driving the perceived value of digital goods significantly below that of a physical game.”

Gamestop -_-

When the hell are Amazon US gonna get new Xbone stock?? All they've had for ages is the AC bundles. It's getting ridiculous

What a surprise, Gamestop doesn't want to see that digital games cost less as physical discs and calls it "we don't want that people think digital is less worth to protect the industry"

Digital should be cheaper and that has nothing to do with people just thinking that it should be cheaper without any reason. If you don't need space to sell games in stores and people to sell it in these stores, if you don't have to transport stuff, if you don't have packaging and if customers can't resell what they buy (which is also an advantage for publishers), the product can be sold cheaper to make the same profit per sold unit and because of that, there is no reason why it still has the same price. The value of a retail game is $60 bucks because all these costs push it to that price and if all these costs wouldn't be in retail games, these physical discs would be also cheaper (or we would at least get not so much as DLC which should be in the game)

Im amazed at how good Halo 2 is even in 2014.  Few things it does really well is it makes the enemies feel real and youre not facing lifeless enemies.  It also makes levels big and expansive battlefields with different species attacking each other, making it feel like actual war.  And it offers variety with different enemies along with driving missions.  And it also makes the universe feel alive with those different enemies, big maps, and the artistic settings in the distance. It really still is better thanm any other FPS to date

The CoD:AW bundle was back in stock the last 2 days, did it sell out again?

It's only available from 3rd party sellers for $519 from what I can see

Yeah, looks like they sold out again. It was doing pretty good the last 2 days after the restock, it was ahead of the PS4 Destiny bundle yesterday. I heard there was another restock coming this week (which makes sense since this is Black Friday week), hopefully they'll restock both the Sunset Bundle and the CoD:AW bundle.

I still can't believe that the $350 AC bundle hasn't sold out yet despite being consistently in the top ~15 since release. They must've made a shit ton of them

Agreed. The AI on legendary in Halo CE is still a lot better than most games AI even today. Well except the friendly AI but then again what games today have AI driving you around a massive space and not in an extremely linear path? The way enemy AI relentlessly chases you when you are low on shields and how they hide when they are weak makes them come alive. A point could be made that while story in games has developed throughout the past few years, gameplay has halted or even regressed in a lot of genres.

It's basically the standard XboxOne for the holiday.
