Are we all that biased that all Sony fans are like "OMG BEST GAME EVARRR!" (including myself) and more Xbox related people react like this to it? It's just a thought, no offense intended.

I dnt think Sony fans have with this gme. I have Sony fans friends who rate Uncharted and may others above TLOU.

Reviewers seem to have seen a different game.

At least so far for me it could have been so much better.

Dude look at all those threads here claiming "goty" "gotg (gen)" or even "best game ever!". This is the most praised game in the history of the VGChartz forum by far, at least since I'm a member, 2009.

Oh the internetz. I tend not to include internetz in that. Because the internetz normlly blows things way out of proportion.

Hopefuly it gets much better ( I just lost Tess ). But theres only so much more of Pick that lader up put it there, or sneak wait kill that I can take.

Lol these xbox guys...

Are people not allowed an opinion? I must say that until the end of Bill's Town, I felt the same. I didn't get the hype, but I could see it was technically a great game. Then things started ramping up, and overall I now believe it's an excellent game. It's my personal 3rd favourite of the gen, just behind Galaxy and Xenoblade.

But just because I don't believe it's the greatest game ever made, and merely a great game, does that make me a hater for having a different opinion? At least the OP justified his reasoning, and there's little to disagree with.

Having said that, as I said the game picks up soon, so hopefully you'll "get" it then OP.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

This is pretty much the consensus around the web.

I didn't really see what all the fuss was about either, I think its just pretty average and I give the title of best game this gen to Uncharted 1. I am glad so many love it though because ND deserve all the praise they get, I've thought of ND as gods since they released the legendary Rings of Power on the MegaDrive back in the early 90's. If only they would give that game a re-release.

All I can say is:

I hate the Clickers and I love Bricks.

It's easy.... so increase the difficulty! Not complicated

This game is great, the begining is a bit slow, but as you progress the game gets really emotional and a hell alot of fun.

i dont know if your a legit person that doesnt like the game, cause their are people out there like that ( not many). But i know i have 4 Xbox Fanboys in my friends category. One hates the game simply because its only on PS3 and its been said to be AMAZING. just wondering if thats you.

Logan: he said that he's really sad, and that you PS guys are lucky to have The Last of Us cause it looks great.

Shawn: i have seen alot better games, but Naughty Dogs games kinda suck, Uncharted please.

Dylan: looks great, not gonna waste my money on it though saving up for XB1 and PS4

Micheal: is it really good, i heard it was a little like Gears of War on the Multiplayer side ( BIG Gears fan)

These are some of my closest friends. now as you can see Shawn is a hater on Playstation and only loves XBOX, Logan doesnt have a PS3 but would buy one just for this game, Dlyan doesnt have the money cause he's saving up for the new consoles bu thinks it looks great, Micheal just wants a fun game to play.
i asked all of these people if this game was The game of the Generation. 2 out of 4 said YES, FUCK YA HOW COULDN'T IT BE.
i loved the game personally, i could play some parts 27 times over and still love the fuck out of it. other parts were slow but thats what made it amazing, the slowness got you kinda button pressy for when the exciting stuff happened, cause anything could happen at any moment.

well... the game like most members said will pick up as you go along for sure. i remember being impressed in the 1st third of the game but not by that much. then when i continued with the game into the 2nd third everything got much better and it turned into a true quality materials, even the visuals and the environments were improving big time. then came the Epic last third where the whole game reached its full potential and truly blew me away.

You can't fault Last of Us on repittion compared to Uncharted. Uncharted is soo repititious = go to new site, kill all the bad guys, search the site, go to next site over and over for the whole game. I found the litlle kid in Last of |Us very offnesive. She was obscene and very disrespectful of her elders. I wish I could have belted her a few times. I hope the kids of thee game developers and the execs who produced this game act just like her. It would be swee justice. I didn't like it at first. I especially don't like an unrealistic portrayal of women going around shooting and killing people. I was so glad when she was out of the game. I can understand that feminists want women to be men, and a passive woman can be boring, but violent women is so unrealistic. But the game got better. I was genuinely scared at moments, which I haven't been for a while with Resident Evil, which used to be my favourite game. I hope they may have created a brand new franchise.

*sigh* I thought you were about to say something a bit more biased.
