You don't know anything about Nintendo and it's pretty obvious in your posts. I will smack you in the face so reality comes to you (your own words):

1. Nintendo is a business, they try things, they either work or they don't they are no way surprised by anything . If something doesn't work, they will fix it, like they did the 3DS.

2. They are not arrogant, and that is trolling, but whatever let me show you how you're wrong. Their model is actually to put consumers first, the games they are releasing reflect the purchasing trends of the consumers. You're just so centered around yourself that whatever doesn't please you isn't according to the needs of consumers. This just in: you're not important to them.

3. There is no reason that buying a 32GB makes a buyer more blind than buying a non 32 GB. Your point is so poorly constructed I can't even begin to break it apart.

4. You're calling Nintendo's consumers sheep and you think that's not trolling. The problem is that even if this weren't trolling, there is no proper logic to you calling Nintendo's consumers sheep. I challenge you to do it. But before you do, I just want you to know that it won't work.

5. Microsoft changing its policies has nothing to do with Nintendo's consumerbase's buying habits.

6. A great investment to you may not be a great investment to somebody else. You calling me a JigglyPuff (codeword for fanboy) proves that you are being arrogant.

7. New Super Mario Bros. is actually going very well, I think it's an awesome game. I could easily troll most of Sony's games here just in terms of sales but I won't because I'm not an ingrown asshair.

Now go to bed, you need your sleep, there's a lot more work set out for you, lots of Nintendo and xbox fans to troll. Chop chop.

You won't smack no one little man, I won't even resort to threats over video game bcuz it makes you sound like the 12 year old you are. Now let's join your nerd battle, ready set go..

1. Irrelevant two different products, two different genres home console vs handheld.

2. Insults and no logic explained except Jiggly Puff comments.

3.When your Jiggly Puff company offers you a 32gb console for the price of $349 that is completely consumer first right? LOL wake up bro, your head is up Nintendo's rear.

4.Nintendo consumers are sheep, where's the 100 million that bought the Wii? oh that's right check your phone or tablet.

5.Microsoft is an example for trying to go business first consumer last, how'd that workout. Check the Amazon polls bub.

6. Sorry for calling you a jiggly puff and I agree everyone is entitled to what they deem is a good investment.

7.Right bcuz let's compare innovation vs repetition since SNES. Where is Super Mario Sunshine or Metroid real games that matter?

The only person who needs sleep is you lol. This argument might even make you lose some sleep, very very sad thing awwww poor Jiggy. LOLZ

1. nop. It's the same company so it doesn't matter.

2. nop. (no comment)

3. nop. People buy what they consider a good product proposal. If 32GB console is worth 350$ then all the power to them.

4. nop.  The people who bought the Wii may not be happy with the U or found their tastes met elsewhere. No sheeping here.

5. nop. Nintendo is putting consumerbase first, you last. Thank God.

6. nop. Don't be sorry, be intelligent.

7. nop. I like NSMB and that's all that matters here.

8. nop. I've been here for 3 years and have dealt with people like you in the past, this is just another day in the grind.

You just scored 8/8 in the nop scorecard. Great results.

The WiiU needs a Zelda announcement in a Nintendo Direct soon or maybe that's what I need

they already have the cheapest next gen console, and they kind of have a market of their own. They don't need a price drop

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Arguing all over again, pff...

You don't even need to look at ps4-x1, wii u needs price cut(to $249 - wii launch price) no matter what, even "big games" won't help.

Someone with logic thank you very much

Did logic get you banned too?

@OT WiiU does need a price drop but it could do well with being $300.  It just doesn't have a system seller yet.  If the WiiU does not do well this Holiday then people can panic.  At this moment, no worries.  Wait for games before worrying about Nintendo.

Is a hundred dollars cheaper than a PS4, how much are you expecting them to cut the price? 50 or 100?

Yeah I can't see the WiiU competing with the Ps4 at that price :/

you can't see it competing with ps4 even though it's $100 less? I wonder what went so wrong in the past for people to say this logicless things.

$100 less when in the eyes of many people its worth $150 or more less.

Just because its $100 less doesnt mean its logically going to be able to compete with the Ps4 there are many many MANY more factors and unless your new to the internet or video games you should already know this....

Price drop will happen when reality smacks Nintendo in the face. Very soon.

Nope, it has nothing to do with reality or smacking ,but with testing the market. The most likely scenario is that they will keep the price as is and release their big games. If that makes no effect, they will lower the price of the console and possibly offer rebates on some of their games.

As for buying blindly, wait till you see all the blind people lining up for a PS4. You'll think you're in a ward.

Really? That's reality for you right there "offer rebates on some of their games." Lack of product so let's rebate it. No the truth is very clear Nintendo will get smacked. They're a very arrogant and stick to a business first consumer last model. That's why most of their games have not changed or ever will. As to buying blindly, yes whomever bought a 32gb Wii U is blind. Hence the fact the world didn't flock to it like the sheep Nintendo hoped they would be, hence the fact Microsoft changed its policies, and people waiting for a PS4 were the smart buyers. A console priced at $399 with what it offers is a great investment sorry to burst your Jiggly Puff. How's that New Super Mario Bros going for you? Oh no don't answer that lolzzzzz

Wow that was an extremely arrogant post. Nothing happydolphin said was false, Wii U hasnt had any big games release so far this year and yes that is there own fault but a price cut with no big games and still selling at a loss is a terrible idea. It makes way more sense to see how consumers react when it gets a steady stream of quality exclusives. If they still arent buying it then its time for a price cut. But Nintendo has about 10 solid exclusives coming by the end of this year with a few very likely to sell over 5 million copies. That along with advertising and bundling will give it respectable sales to finish out the year.

Arrogant is trolling the PS4 when no mention of it was made in this discussion until Dolphin brought it up. Everything I said was a very legit point. The console has been out for nearly 3 quarters of the year yet it hasn't sold a hair. Competition is stiff and priced much better with more to offer yet no price drop is necessary. A price drop will be very required if Nintendo even thinks about competing in this gen. Than again Nintendo doesn't care about what other comapnies do, which in reality is all mojo talk. Reality will set and a price drop will happen. Nintendo will then have a chance to compete. Nuff said.

I agree the PS4 comment was uncalled for. And yes its selling poorly now but look at the release schedule

January-None

February-None

March

Amazing Spider Man-year old port, didnt sell well to begin with

Lego City-solid exclusive but there are about 100 Lego games across multiple platforms, does nothing for boosting hardware

Monster Hunter-3 old Wii port, also on 3DS

Need For Speed-late port, almost everybody who wanted It already owned it

April

Injustice-solid multiplat

May

Resident Evil-year old 3DS port, also on PS3/360/PC

Sniper Elite-year old port

Lego Batman 2-year old port

Fast & Furious-bad game

June

Game & Wario-bad game

So as u can see there has been 10 retail releases this year, of which only 1 is a good exclusive and 1 multiplat released on time. Wait until Pikmin, Luigi U, Splinter Cell, Rayman, Disney Infinity, Wonderful 101, Batman, Assassins Creed 4, Wind Waker, Skylanders, Ghosts, Wii Party, Watch Dogs, Donkey Kong Country, Sonic Lost World, Mario & Sonic Olumpics, Wii Fit, Mario 3D World release before saying they need a price cut. Also in addition to those titles will be a new marketing campaign and plenty of holiday deals and bundles, which cancels out thr need for an official price cut. I wouldnt be surprised to see the Basic model down to $199 and thr Deluxe bundled with a big game for $299 on black friday thru christmas. If none of this helps the console sell then i doubt a price cut will get people interested

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Wii U (32GB) should be dropped to $250, 1 game included. Anything less drastic will only have a mild and non-lasting effect.
