a computer is made for computer stuff and a console is made for games now put portable in mind and you have a laptop and a handheld console or do we call it a handheld game playing machine?

That wasn't my point. What i mean is that the smartphone doesn't replace the notebook for a lot of functions. The same with a PC gamer buying a 3DS.

1. Those games have a rather large focus on multiplayer, so having a 3DS to play with friends would be ideal.
2. I could be wrong, but I don't think that 3DS emulation has been perfected yet.
