He always liked Pokemon, but he never had a Gameboy, he borrowed it from his cousin back then or played it with me. Or he played them on the pc. And he always loved Smash Bros. We played it a lot together with more people, pure local multiplayer fun. He buys it primarly for Pokemon, the other games are just a bonus.

Also liking other games besides pc games doesn't mean he isn't a true pc gamer lol. That logic xD

A handheld console is like the name says still a console. And I don't care tbh. I just got a little overexcited cause I never thought he considers buying non pc hardware an option. I know that the thread title wasn't the best possible solution but like I said, it just hit me with surprise.

Well, that was a massive disappointment. I thought it would be something crazy like Nintendo scrapping the wii u or the them buying atlus.

I thought it was them securing better third party support for WiiU and/or something like GTAV coming to WiiU

3DS is epic awesome official!

 

But....how or why does he want a 3DS? He has been out of the Nintendo loop for 20 years. Does he even care about these franchises?


Like I said on the page before. He always loved Pokemon and Smash, this are the Nintendo Franchises he truly loves (lol, almost every gamer has a Nintendo Franchsie which he really loves)borrowing Gameboy from cousin/friends, Emulator, etc. Also we had many Smash Bros sessions with more people (nowa days not so much anymore).

1. Those games have a rather large focus on multiplayer, so having a 3DS to play with friends would be ideal.
2. I could be wrong, but I don't think that 3DS emulation has been perfected yet.


There are no 3DS emulators out there, peroid.

That could've been true a few months after the 3DS launched. But now it's just the norm.
