But....how or why does he want a 3DS? He has been out of the Nintendo loop for 20 years. Does he even care about these franchises?

Like I said on the page before. He always loved Pokemon and Smash, this are the Nintendo Franchises he truly loves (lol, almost every gamer has a Nintendo Franchsie which he really loves)borrowing Gameboy from cousin/friends, Emulator, etc. Also we had many Smash Bros sessions with more people (nowa days not so much anymore).
