After a quick google search, I realized that this isn't exactly true. While there are no top quality emulators out there, I believe there is at least one that works. |
Wrong. I have researched this intensively. There are none that work out there. A quick google search may fool you into thinking there would be one working, but it is infact a fraud. The people who make these supposed 'emulators' are the same ones going onto forums or youtube comments sections and saying it works.

You sure? There is one website that looks pretty legit. |
"Guys,
I know there are a few emulators out for the 3DS, namely the emulator from _______________ and the one by ______________. People are getting trapped into this, and it is clearly proved that these are fake. This is a video tutorial by _______________ to set up the "fake" emulator they have put up, so clearly, it is fake but the video is made such that people believe all this:

First of all, one can obviously see that is working. However, on close observation, just notice the part where he starts the ROM. He puts in a popup where the game ROM should appear. And very cleverly adds in his own recorded video from a real 3DS right in there.

Also when you start the game, upon closing the window instead of selecting the ROM, it shows that the ROM is being started even though it isn't even started.
A typo can also be observed right when you open the Options menu in the Menu Bar:

And finally, the video shows all this in a single window, whereas the 3DS has 2 screens, which is quite obvious.
Some other facts:
