Forums - Nintendo - Wii U games made by Nintendo are lazy? Really?

While I was  banned I took a quick look at a thread and one of the comment was saying how Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze was LAZY COMPARED TO DONKEY KONG COUNTRY  RETURNS which is 100% BS all across the board. Donkey Kong Country Returns was kinda not liked because you had to shake the Wii mote to roll and also the game was easy ( lol) and for casuals ( a huge lie).
OK. Let's look at Tropical Freeze:
                      1. You don't need to shake to roll.

                      2. People who played the game at E3 said that the game is harder and also the levels are longer.

                     3. The composer of the original trilogy, David Wise, is back. A complaint about Returns was the soundtrack. 3 complaints gone!

                      4. More playable characters: DK, Dixie Kong, Diddy Kong and a secret character that has to be revealed. Fans wanted Dixie Kong to be playable since DKC3.

                     5. Blowing was replaced with plucking things out of the ground. People already seem to prefer plucking over blowing!

Tropical Freeze improves on 5 aspects over  Returns, yet somehow it is a lazy rehash. Ironic since the same people will buy the next Killzone despite being almost the same as Killzone 3.

I also see complaining about the next Smash Bros being the same as............. Brawl? WHAT? Let's  take a look ath this one as well!

                         1. Newcomers so far are awesome choices. Mega Man is a character a lot of folks wanted since Brawl. Wii FIt Trainer and The Villager are characters that would rather take than crappy duplicates like Pichu and Dr. Mario and rather than over-powered crap like Meta Knight and Ike.

                          2. Speed and improved from Brawl. Huge complaint about Brawl was how floaty the game was and I agree 100%. The game looks so smooth compared to Brawl.

                           3. Sakurai said that the story mode won't be  the same as in Brawl. It will be something unique and different.

Keep in mind this is what I know   and yet the game was revealed only 3 weeks ago. Oh and  NO TRIPPING. Consider this number 4.

I could also go over Sonic Lost World,  Mario Kart 8, X, Bayonetta 2, Zelda U but that would just destroy the haters.

The game is going to be even harder than Donkey Kong Country Returns? I barely managed to beat that one (didn't skip any levels via the white DK, though!)... :/

Nintendo, why are you so cruel?

Looks like some  users thought the game was for causuals. Sure, it was easier than the original trilogy, but saying it was for casuals is really dumb. Why does Donkey Kong Country 3D have an easy mode then?

You are surprised at biased fanboys?

Good job, now osed will cry himself to sleep.

DKC

1,4,5 are very, very easy to implement and don't prove your point
3 - the DKCR composer is not lacking in talent (Metroid Prime) and is still working on the new installment. The soundtrack complaints were abut content not the name of the person.

SSB

1. Character choice is about excitement. Look at the billion threads and playground/watercooler discussions about inclusion and tell me again Trainer and Villager got the average Smash customer excited.
2. Time to fix: near zero. Just change some numbers in the engine. No proof of not lazy.
3. No one cares about story mode. Unique and different was how Subspace was billed as too. No one was complaining Subspace wasn't "unique and different", so why is that statement meant to allay concerns?
4. Literally the easiest fix in game design

That's the thing . They are improvements nonetheless.

Improvements I could make with a hex editor and 24 hours. It's not evidence of them not being lazy. And certainly not in the face of MIDI soundtracks, art styles that make games look worse than the Gamecube (3D World, Yarn Yoshi, DKCTF) and not fixing ten year old gamebreaking bugs in Wind Waker HD.

They added 3D challenges to DK: TF, and created a whole new game (new worlds new levels). You can't just do harder levels with a hex editor.

The art styles have nothing to do with laziness. They are art choices that may or may not please you or others, but they don't mean the makers are being lazy. They are just putting focus on other things like level design and such. If you're not pleased with the art style, it's very different from saying they're lazy.
