I think Sony needs to grab some good WRPG developer (or make their own studio), having exclusive WRPG franchise to compete with Fable wouldn't hurt them at all. I don't think CD Project RED is up for sale (or being cheap), but Pyrahna Bytes should be a good purchase.

I would love for Atlus to remain third-party, because they have followers from each console fan base.  I personally wouldn't want Namco Bandai to buy them because I'm afraid they would not port many of Atlus's future titles to the west (although Namco has started to localize more Tales games, so maybe it wouldn't be so bad).

It would be best for them to remain third party, so I'd choose Namco, because they're localising a lot of Tales games right now.

If not, then I think they should go to Sony. It's where the fans and their best selling / highest rated games are right now, and it would give Sony a much needed push in Japan (Persona 5 for Vita anyone? ).

If that were to happen I can see Persona 5 helping Vita in Japan, and at least for me, that would make me want to buy one (currently waiting for a price drop).
