Sorry for my broken English I'm from taiwan.

I'm a old player that I have already play game

for more than 30yrs so I got some gaming 

experience to talk about this gen and next gen 

topics. I'm guite sure that wii u selling is going 

to be like gamecube, both are great system and

both got the similar situation as not so many

third party support and Nintendo game was come

out too slow that killing gamers patients.....well...

Dreamcast got the same problem, and the winner

was PS2. This gen currently has three winner, as they all have enough console sell, but for long term, PS3 will take console sell/market share winner eventually for a year later. For next gen I can say ps4 still the winner, not because cheaper, but the Sony bland, which asia people more confidence to it compare 

with ms, don't blame what I say its true and also

Ms win8 sucks as we prefer apple ios....

Ms products always the problem as I already got three broken x360 and PS2, PS3 and other consoles never got problem, those I all bought in the first day.

But there's PS3 and ps4 key point which is super important for asia gamer, region free, in taiwan, we have many regions game can choose , and that's

good for Asia gamer, because I can either choose

Japanese, English, or Chinese game, and that's other

Reason why xbox not a good seller in asia comparing to PS sys.

Nope, not really. Wii U is not a big enough point of my interest, so that I would study it's sales pattern, game releases, and other variables to give an educated guess and a prediction. And I don't want to pull a number from my ass. I belive it will be lower than what you projected, by quite a margin, starting from the end of July stage. I also think that it will be lower at the end of the year than your over 9m units "worst case scenario" prediction.



So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

I think Wii in the same time frame Wii-U is in now was the fastest selling console ever though. Probably the most profitable one aswell.

Sure, why not. So if Wii U sells 10.2 million units by year 2013 end or more, you win. If it sells lower than 9.1 million units then I win. If it's between it's a tie. What's the stake? Avatar, sig control? IP ban request?

Selling less than all the current gen consoles and even its predecessor being the highlight, might be a tough thing to deal with and perhaps forcing to discontinue within a short time-frame. I've not emphasized anything on Nintendo's market withdrawal but rather their reason to persist/reputation is the 3DS console's performance. Why start an argument over something you presume wrongly? That doesn't make sense.

with the way ps4 and xone are selling, they will never sell above 0.
