Forums - Sales - Global HW&SW UP! 15th June 2013

It's been years since I've taken these sales numbers to heart, but I will say it's definitely a good indicator for the The Last Of Us and Animal Crossing.

I can only imagine that The Last Of Us Sold another one, or a few hundred thousand digital copies as well. It was available for download at midnight of launch ( I believe) and I know quite the few people who downloaded it. I can only many other have too.

Great numbers for The Last of Us...too bad its sold out almost everywhere in Belgium :(

great sales for the last of us, deserves even more than that to be honest, and its a system seller :) ps3 almost outsold 360 in the US aswell this week. guess that 360 redesign did nothing. wii u and vita, can it get any worse?

I think TLoU is undertracked in EU, i mean 130k in UK should mean at least 550k in Europe going by install base.

Great to see good sales news with Last of Us and Animal Crossing having strong openings.

.Good week. Massive spike in 3DS hardware, though I don't expect that to last too long. I'm guessing we might see an overall sales boost of about 10% for a bit, though, once the numbers plateau.

I believe in honesty, civility, generosity, practicality, and impartiality.

Special note for X360 fans. Next week 360 overtakes DS in WW software numbers.

X360 - 764,792,497
DS - 764,954,542

Amazing TLoU numbers. Deserves even more. A slightly lesser bump for PS3 than I expected, altough also not too shabby. Great European numbers. We love some Sony hardware alright.

PS Vita bump, if correct, maybe after E3 and widespread info about streaming from PS4, definitely not because of games announcements lol... ;_;

Also what is causing those very strong sales of Batman Arkham City in the recent weeks? A price cut? It is already very cheap in Poland, like circa 20$, but for quite some time. I know it has good legs, but it was way lower than 20k earlier.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Why did GOW: A not chart in the US top 75 this week? I mean, WTF.
Anyways happy to see TLOU doing this well, already among the top 10 best-selling games of this year.

Truly surprised about Last of Us sales, I figured it would move 600-700k first week globally.

Wii U keeps on getting outsold by the Wii, the "dead" Vita and even the venerable PSP, I wonder what it will take to make people realise that the core design is at fault for these terrible numbers, it's not like there are a bunch of reasons for the Vita or Wii to outsell it.
