Many Japonese names on that list. I'm not very familiar with many of them and do not play that many games from Japan, but Japan is one of my favorite countries on the globe.

There is 6 non Japanese on it, not very reasonable globally as this list almost entirely ignored PC gaming with a couple of notable exception.

Let's look at some people that the list missed:

Gabe Newell, Chris Robert, Richard Garriot, Tim Schafer, Michael Morhaime, Frank Pearce, Allen Adham, Jason Jones, Greg Zeschuk, Ray Muzyka, Louis Castle, etc etc the list goes on, and a whole heap of them play a more pivotal role in gaming history than half the people here.

               Come on. I named Japanese people that worked on HUGE franchises. Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong Country, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Yoshi, Tekken, Mega Man, etc...
