DoA5 is a newer game so I'm not sure why it downloaded slow for you, but download speeds used to be slow as I think it was patched by then.  But one of the more recent updates either earlier this year or late last year removed the cap that caused games to download so slow.  I helped a friend pay for Dead Space 3 and it only took me around an hour to download it.

Yikes, your used game store sucks. I can get Halo 3, Fable 3, and Ass Creed 2 much cheaper than that.

Of course, I can also get the PS+ games you listed cheaper than that as well.

Kudos to MS for offering games people actually wanna play. You can add up all 4 of those PS+ titles you listed and their lifetime sales only just barely eclipse Fable 3 and don't come close to Ass Creed 2 or Halo 3.

Everyone has already played those games, you honestly think someone with an xbox 360 hasn't played those old games with $5 used prices like Halo 3 yet?  It's better to give out games everyone hasn't played yet.

Microsoft offers free games and the response from some people is "what those games are old and cheap right now, you suck MS" Lol no matter what MS does people will hate.

I have a 50 MB download speed and games on PS take a good while still for me to. XBL is typically a lot faster to download stuff than PS.

That's actually a negative thing lol. Me and almost everyone I know who is a gamer has already played Halo 3 and AC 2.

Not everyone has played Deus Ex and Sleeping Dogs. They are also still relevant. There have been what 3 or 4 Halo games after Halo 3 and 3 games after AC2. 

Still, this is great news and hopefully they continue.

Halo 3? Assassins Creed 2? I hate to sound ungrateful but this is saving us like 8 bucks. Compared to PS Plus which got us Uncharted 3, Deus Ex HR, Saints Row The Third, LBP Karting, and Xcom Enemy Unknown for this month alone. I really hope they try harder next month.
