The plan sounds good until I realize that much like PS plus a lot of the free stuff I already played long ago.

Free until your subscription runs out.

Halo 3? It's 6 years old.

I'm sure that 1 user who has yet to play it will appreciate it. Is this serious?

Look at the sales of Halo 3 and 360-sales. Well, at least I will be happy. What a coincidence that the one user is me! Yes!

still not good enough at the very least announce better games

Agreed, both games are extremely old and sold quite well which means A LOT of people have already experienced them.

Here's your reward.

Doesn't really compete with PS+, but its a nice bonus.

Well here you keep the games regardless if you stay with Gold. Kinda a big deal there.

But free games aside LIVE is generally faster and more easy to get where you want to go and see what your friends are doing/talk to them.

What's the point in your second sentence? You are going completely off point. Your first point is valid and has it's place. Were you just trying to rise people or?

Damn I was hoping to occasionally use my several free month subscriptions that I saved to get freel games. They will not let me beat the system, or at least let me beat it for more then a month.

Is this logical to you?

Assumptions:

- All 360 users actually want to play Halo at all, let alone Halo 3.

- All 360 users who haven't bought the game, haven't played it.

- All 360 users have XBLG

Your refutation has less merit than a christian fundamentalist argument for the age of the Earth.

Second point was relevant. Comment was "Doesn't really compete with PS+". To me, this includes the whole service, not just the free games

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Easy now, PS Plus gives away old games too. And there will be Gold members who didn't play halo 3. Every free game will "have allready been played" by some circle of gamers.

But the point isn't to refute the service based on its offerings, its the service itself that deserves credit where its due.

Nice.. Wonder how many there will be to chose from. Will be a huge difference if there is only 1 or 2 as compared to a dozen.. but Assassin's Creed 2 is a good start either way. I actually just sold mine back regretably, so that worked out nicely..

Edit: Oh.. guess I should actually read the article first. Only get two games per month, no choices. Still not bad though considering it's free.

Oh I see you didn't change your tone :) Your exaggeration was also not logical, of course. I am still happy about it no matter how hard you try, even with more provoking comparisons this will not change in any way :)
