Microsoft offers free games and the response from some people is "what those games are old and cheap right now, you suck MS" Lol no matter what MS does people will hate.

I'm really grateful with the free games but you gotta to admit the games are a little underwhelming compare to PSN+.

True, maybe August they will give some decent games away!

Alan Wake - Hasn't sold incredibly well; Is cheap on PC... A perfect candidate.

Ex Graphics Whore.

Crackdown 2 is one of the games for August, just my hunch. Maybe they will announce Crackdown 3 at Gamescom after Crackdown 2 is available free.

A free game is a free game I'll take it. I don't care if the game is 6 years old or brand new. If I haven't played it before (Assassin's Creed) than Ill download it. If I have played it than I won't overall it is a win win situation.

I've yet to play Assassins 2. Halo I've had forever and who knows it may just reinvigorate the multiplayer. It also could help future sales of games which I don't think anyone has mentioned. Each sale helps right. & no not everyone has played those games anyway

Another example why competition is so good for consumers.

Halo 3 is like $5 used, Fable III $10 used and Assassin's Creed 2 $15 used

Xcom $30 used, Little Big Planet Karting $30 used, Dues Ex $20 used and Sleeping Dog $30 used

You guys get my point.....

Yikes, your used game store sucks. I can get Halo 3, Fable 3, and Ass Creed 2 much cheaper than that.

Of course, I can also get the PS+ games you listed cheaper than that as well.

Kudos to MS for offering games people actually wanna play. You can add up all 4 of those PS+ titles you listed and their lifetime sales only just barely eclipse Fable 3 and don't come close to Ass Creed 2 or Halo 3.

That's actually a negative thing lol. Me and almost everyone I know who is a gamer has already played Halo 3 and AC 2.

Not everyone has played Deus Ex and Sleeping Dogs. They are also still relevant. There have been what 3 or 4 Halo games after Halo 3 and 3 games after AC2.

Still, this is great news and hopefully they continue.

You guys replying and saying it's a negative are only proving my point. You could just as easily and logically say offering titles with abysmal sales numbers (except Deus Ex) is a negative because hey, if these games were interesting, wouldn't more people have played them? I mean, it's really a negative that a blockbuster like Halo 3 is offered instead of a niche bomb like LittleBig Karting or whatever? Or Sleeping Dogs? There are plenty of people who haven't played the games Live is offering. And they are digital and yours to keep forever, not rentals like PS+.

Really got to have a pretty petty agenda to bicker about these games. Not surprised people here are doing it though :)

dont forget battlefield 3

Does not compete with PSN+
Ive had psn+ for 3 months now and every month the content is atleast worth £20-40... Also great classics like God of war HD and Shadow of the colossus HD even Okami HD which was a classic :)
