A variant of that might not be a bad idea. I have trouble imagining it being less than $399 though.

There was an interview a while back with the enginiers who designed Xbone. Some of the Kinects functionalitys are on the apu, and some are on the mainboard. It mostly effects multi media functions. They would have to completly redsign the system to get it to work without Kinect.

they don't anymore? wtf? that means developers can't make the games with a necessary install in mind. that means games won't be as good as they could.
or do you just mean that the game has to be in the drive even when fully installed?

The games needs to be installed... same for PS4.
