Not to mention they have a weaker console with bigger focus on social and TV, as well as smaller first party support (most certanly improved from 360, but still smaller than Sony's and Nintendo's). The console is also harder to develop for...and its being outsold by PS4 in its strongest markets (US and UK)
But yeah, they are in much better shape than they were 30 minutes ago.

The gap in power is really not enough to be relevant to me. We'll most likely see what we saw this generation. Sony's first party stuff will look marginally better, and third party stuff will be pretty similar.
Focus on social media and TV is not necessarily a bad thing. The games lineup they showed at E3 was just as robust, if not more, than the PS4's lineup, and if they keep that up (which is questionable given their track record) then they can do all the TV/media stuff they want.
I'm really not sure that the console is harder to develop for. From my understanding, the architecture is similar to the PS4. Regardless, third party support does not seem like a problem at this time. The XBox One is not being outsold by the PS4 in its strongest markets, or in any markets. Both are being outsold by the Wii U though. Neither system has launched yet and as we clearly can see, a lot can change from now until launch.
Right now, I'm honestly leaning more towards the XBone. The lineup of games seems better, and the features are neat. Certainly not worth 500 dollars for me, but combined with the software, maybe worth 100.
However, two things hold me back. First off, Sony's first party support has been stronger over the years, with a lot more diversity. I didn't see that at E3, but hopefully Sony will show off more stuff in the future. I'm also pretty unwilling to buy anything MS at launch. They've showed a total and complete willingness to send a faulty product to retail.
Moreover, neither console has a very strong lineup in my mind. Each system has one game I'd really like to play (Dead Rising/Infamous) and XBone has a couple more that intrigue me (KI, Project Spark). Nothing to make me throw 4-500 bucks on the table. I'm planning on spending a lot of money on the stuff I want for 3DS (Pokemon, Zelda, Mario/Luigi) Wii U (Mario 3D World, Wonderful 101, Game/Wario, MK8, Arkham Origins, etc) and catching up on some games I missed (Metal Gear Rising, DMC, Tomb Raider), so I don't plan on having the gaming budget to buy either right now. Honestly, if the Wii U looked like it would be getting decent multiplatform support, I'd be fine without either other console. Since that doesn't seem to be happening, I'll probably ride the fence until next year's E3, and make a decision then.
