Everybody ignore Zero999. He is just mad because the PS4 marketshare suddenly just took a huge hit in a span of 30 minutes. Xbox One has an amazing exclusive lineup and they aren't even done revealing yet. Wait till Gamescom and they show gameplay of Black Tusk's new game.

Yeah even if he was mad about that(which doesn't make sense seeing as NEITHER the PS4 or the Xbox One have ANY marketshare AT ALL at the moment so that was a pretty odd statement), Sony also has an amazing exclusive lineup and they aren't done realving either. Wait until they show the stuff of MM, GG(2nd project), SSM, ND etc and what they are working on at TGS and Gamescon(see what I did there lol)....anyway...BOTH companies have LOTS of games in the works and they are both looking GREAT. At the moment the $100 price difference has me leaning a little more towards Sony and I just like the looks of some of their games better right now. I won't be getting either for atleast 1.5-2 years though because I have SO MANY games on PS3 and 360 that I still need to beat and play. And PS3 even has more games comign still.

Anyway OT this is great news for fans and for MS as a company. Glad to see them taking a step in the right direction. Bravo MS!!!

The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

PSN: StlUzumaki23

nope they still lost

VITA 32 GIG CARD.250 GIG SLIM & 160 GIG PHAT PS3

No. PS4 will continue the PS3's trend of outselling its competitor. Only difference now is that sony's machine is actually the cheaper box, but microsoft has slightly better looking exclusives.

I personally feel this gen is going to be taken over by indies and exclusives. That's what I want to see from next gen to win in my book. If Microsoft announce a new Banjo, I'll buy one for sure :3

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

Microsoft this time has not the advantage of the price and don't the year and half advantage so no
Even if Microsoft make a price cut Sony will follow few month later.

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Still requires internet connection
Still requires Kinect
• Still no backwards-compatibility
Still $100 more than PS4
• Exclusives still look like shit compared to PS4/WiiU/PC lineup

no, Microsoft is still in last place.

Those 3 are still going to really harm the Xbox One in the long run.  It's ridiculous that they are going to get rid of their 24 hr check-in, but stil require youto connect to the internet to even start playing at all.  There are A LOT of core gamers who don't like Kinect, so the fact that they HAVE TO pay for it, as well as have it connected and calibrated, to even play their core games.  Of course, the BIGGEST killer is average customers going into Wal-mart and other retail stores, and seeing a $100 cheaper console with the same/better visuals.

Even with 95% of the problems fixed, I don't think MS will win for 2 simple reasons.

1) It gave MS a bad image as a console manufacturer, I have a lot of hardcore 360 supporters who just "gave up" on Microsoft.

2) It's still an inferior system to WiiU and PS4. $500 is too much, and with all units coming with Kinect, I can't see it being priced less then WiiU/PS4. Plus WiiU/PS4 have better exclusives, and overall, better games.

You are joking, right?

Not graphically, as a system. First of all, not only is Nintendo known for bomb-proof reliability and amazing customer support, a WiiU is also a $300 system, has the most exclusives announced for it, is backward compatible with Wii games, controllers and peripherals, and I would argue that it's share of exclusives will get the highest average score, just like they did on Wii.

The damage has only been done for the first holiday which is sold out already. All consoles sell out at launch. As this generation moves along people won't even be talking about this anymore. It will be all about the games. I'll be surprised if people are still talking about this by launch. PS4 most likely just lost the US if they already had it. MS will not give up that stranglehold.

You're probably right, but there was a lot of damage done. A lot of people I know, hardcore fans, have already decided to move onto the PS4, and some have even pre-ordered it. Not only that, but the ones who don't have a console now have a very bad image about Microsoft.

I'll tell you, my opinion on Microsoft crashed when I couldn't order a new power cable for my Microsoft brand steering wheel because it was discontinued for a whole two months. Not only did Microsoft not stock any extra parts, but they recalled all wheels from retailers, so I couldn't buy a new one, and were not helpful at all for getting me a 3rd party power supply.

So I can only imagine how sour some people feel about Microsoft now.

When my dog chewed up my SNES video cable, I just went to Nintendo.com and ordered a new one, since video cables from NES-Gamecube are interchangable.
