Have we stopped getting Vgchartz sales estimates on Monday on big launches of new games..
I think how much they are putting it at.? 800k or 1 million+.? i think it should do a million in week 1.. which will be impressive for the new IP.. but depends on how much sales it gets in USA

Yeah I think we didn't have any article for the big games lately.

Using the UK numbers extrapolated to the whole of Europe, TLOU should do ~400k there. (UK FW sales of Uncharted 3 were 26% of Europe)

Also these other games weren't also available digitally day one like TLOU, and its actually not insanely priced on PSN like most new releases of boxed games are. So theres no way were seeing anything like the complete picture.

Not UK, but I went to a local game shop a couple of days after TLOU came out and the 3 levels of shelving dedicated to TLOU was empty.

If that would be the case, then we may be really close to 1m FW.

NA should do 400k at least (I think USA preorders on VGC were overtracked from start, that's why they didn't go much up in the recent weeks, to even that out)

Plus like 100 -200k from Rest of the World markets if it releases simultaneously everywhere else.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

So Id say around 110k for TLoU, and 100k for Animal Crossing. Not bad at all

Animal Crossing could be anywhere from 23k (Luigi's Mansion) - 54k (Mario Kart 7).

"Nintendo’s ‘Animal Crossing: New Leaf’ which debuts at No2 with the biggest 3DS launch since ‘Mario Kart 7’ and the biggest 3DS launch ever for a non-Mario title."

WOW! Bigger than NSMB2 and Luigi? Most probably bigger than 3D Land as well. I think with digital sales included it could be the biggest 3DS launch ever!

Btw NSMB had a 40k launch. So between 40k & 50k sounds about right.

I thought MK7 was 107k for some reason...so more like 40k then.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

40k < AC < 54k

It's higher than NSMB 2 which according to VGC sold 41k first week. Also digital sales not included which should be a lot for AC.

Oh yeah I didn't even noticed to look for Mario games that came out after Mario Kart 7.
The " biggest 3DS launch ever for a non-Mario title" part was still stuck in my head and I didn't bother to look for any other Mario game after MK7 release.

Don't worry about it! I'm just happy for the 3DS ^.^
