Forums - Nintendo - Wii U Q3-Q4 2014 games

I just hope that Zelda and X do come our way next year. We live in hope, right?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I don't think ZeldaU will come next year, SSB during summer and X for the fall.

I do hope that they start announcing release dates for these guys.

  • Art Academy U
  • Advance Wars Unlimited
  • Big Brain University
  • Dr. Mario
  • Endless Ocean III
  • Picross 4 U
  • Project Zero Unsettled
  • Wii Sports Land

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

Zelda U could've been shown in the direct as they've said in the post E3 conference. That is a good sign and bodes really well for a 2014 release. Nintendo just opted out to make it a bigger announcement. They also showed big hints for a 2014 release and they probably will push it as early as possible so I'm keeping my hopes up! Here are a few predictions:

- I'll bet it will be Smash Bros, MK and Bayonetta in the first half. The rest will be released in the holidays with the usual mind boggling Nintendo summer break that they usually have :P.

Yarn yoshi looks like August-October for me.

- Fire Emblem x SMT will be  2014 spring release in Japan imo with a 2015 release in the west (hopefully I'm wrong).

- I think Zelda will be a November release with an ND releasing this year to announce the game.

- Mario Party 9 in the summer

- Either Kirby or Metroid for the holidays imo (I'm edging towards Kirby)

- There will be a couple of announcements of course with Wii U Play/Sports definitely on the table. Wii U sports from the brand alone should sell quite well imo!

- I personally think there will be a big unexpected announcement, but looks like Nintendo are throwing the big guns early on. I hope we do see a new IP personally.

If Starfox comes to Wii U in 2014 I'll eat my hat!

I agree X and Smash Bros will probably be released in the second half of the year.

Otherwise your guesses look fine, since they showed nothing of Zelda, I'd put that in 2015

A late 2014 release for Zelda U seems logical. Just a shame that its so far away

Not really, time flies. It only seems like a few months ago that nintendo unveiled skyward sword and that was e3 2010.

SSB4 will most likely be an end of the year game

I thought WiiU play was coming this year

will be surprised if Zelda U comes out at the end of next year

I predict there will be a Metroid or Star Fox Q2 or 3

Wii U Play hasn't been announced as far as I am aware of

well Wii play then it was announced in the E3ND

nope, There was Wii Party U but no Wii Play U in the E3 presentation. searched the web too and only found one source from Wii U Daily which can never be really trusted especially with their excessive use of unverified rumors

ah well that's the game I meant just named it wrong haha

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

I really hope we dont have to wait that long for Star Fox/Metroid

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I'd like Zelda to come out in 2015. That would give them at least three full years to work on the game, give Nintendo some time to figure out how the Wii U best works, make 2015 the next "Year of Zelda" since I expect Majora's Mask 3D to be released around then, and make sure that the Wii U has at least a decent third full year.

Between Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and all those other games, do we really need a 2014 Zelda?
