Honestly, Mario Kart 8 is the one that impressed me the most. I don't know if it's because I wasn't expecting much from it or what but it blew me away, it looks fantastic.

Bayonetta 2 comes in a very close second

X was the most impressive and Bayonetta surprised me

Mario Kart and Smash Bros looked great

DKC and 3D World werent what I was expecting but still looked very fun

Me when I saw Bayonetta 2 and X:

I was worried they wouldn't be able to match their superb predecessors. I'm not worried anymore.

Nintendo doesnt really like to show games that are way off anymore, I have a feeling every game shown at E3 will be released by thia time next year or very shortly after. Also im basing it off of Mario Kart Wii and Smash Bros Brawl releasing 1 month apart.

They announced Yarn Yoshi back in january but it wasn't even at E3. I have a feeling that and, Bayo 2, and X are quite a way off.

Mario Kart 8.

It's really surpassed what I expected of this game. We all knew it was coming this year, we all knew it would be a fun game, but damn, does it look amazing!

Others that stood out were:

Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD; just by virtue of being a Zelda game, but it's still my least favorite (3D console Zelda game).
Super Mario 3D World; looks very fun, was bummed out because I expected a new revolutionary 3D Mario, but I got over it.

X looked cool and graphically very good, but I doubt it would be the game for me.

your logic is sound.  That said brawl was delayed 3 times.  i still expect it around november of next year.   Here's hopin you're right though.

Not a big fan of nintendo but I m a sucker of cel shaded graphics. If I ever get a wii u then my first choice will be wind waker hd.
