So many good exclusives for me.

My kids are going ga-ga for PokemonXY of course. Not sure if I want to buy 3DSs this year tho.

I can't wait for Pikmin3 and ZeldaWWHD more than anything else. But I'm really excited for SM3DW, DKCTF and W101 as well.

Then 2014 has awesome picks too with Bayo2, X, Smash and so on.

Good times ahead.

Agreed, in addition to multiple indies coming to the Wii U the system should be alright in terms of software.

I was really impressed by X, pokemon and mario kart looked great and awesome as always. But 3d world looked a bit bland, but it's going to be great anyways. I got really disappointed by the DK game though (or rather the fact that retro was making it), retro should have made a western rpg I tell ya!

That's why I didn't put DK:TF in my top 5 (it's in my top 10 though) because there wasn't anything unique about that title. Don't get me wrong the game looks beautiful, but other than the aesthetic the game doesn't utilize the gamepad in any unique way.  At least MK8 uses it as a map to clean up the gorgeous screen (MK looks that good).  On another note anybody know how WatchDogs for Wii U looked compared to the PS4/X1? ( I know it's off topic but been discussing it with some folks and I said it should look similar to the next gen more than current gen since it's based on next gen builds)

It wasn't that there were not anything new with it, it was the fact that it was Retro's first game on an HD nintendo system. And it was a 2D platformer.

That's like if Naughty Dog's first game on PS4 were Little Big planet 3.

I forgot to mention smash bros. though. It looked good, but SB have never really captivated me.

I know...especially considering the new employees that replaced the old Prime team consists of people from Vigil and such I expected a little more western influence.  Anyways I am sure DK will not only look great but play great.

Smash stole the sow for me. It will be incredible fun playing as the villager, i can see it already. Honourable mentions should go to bayonetta 2 and x. Both looked amazing Wii u party looked fun, too. Mario kart did what Mario kart will always do. Looks incredibly fun too. That will be the one that will drive sales the most i predict.

ANDY MURRAY:- GRAND SLAM WINNER!

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

Bayonetta 2 and X were about what I expected (read: awesome).

Mario Kart 8 shattered my expectations so hard that I'm still picking up the pieces. Day one.

consensus is that MK 8 ruled all Nintendo exclusives.

X of course

The trailer was so amazing...and I loved the music

Most of all, X. Impossible not to be excited by it, I feel. Also, SMB3DW - god damn, did it look fun! Especially the catsuit and ship yoshi parts. MK8 looks pretty damn incredible as well. Underwater racing.

dat mario kart

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.
