2014 for me.

Not really that interested in the 2013 line up (expect for DKC: Tropic Freeze), so I don't see any reasons to buy it this year. 2014 looks amazing thus far, so without a doubt I'm going to buy a Wii U mid next year.

It is a fun system and i like it. I didn't have Wii so backwards compatibility helps a lot. I have NSMBU and Nintendo Land. Planning to get New Super Luigi U, Wind Waker HD (Never played WW), Mario 3D World and DKC: Tropical Freeze. I am also interested in seeing how Sonic Lost Worlds and Wonderful 101 turn out.

I might also pick up some third party games on Wii U depending how the port stacks up against PS3. Mario Kart 8 next year for 2013.

Ditto. With Sony saying explicitly in their conference that the PS4 would have a TEN YEARS of support there's absolutely no rush with this generation. I might wind up getting all three systems.
