See this is actual relevant news because america is xbox's stronghold historically so sony winning here means more, unlike the concept of online preorders in a smaller territory of the uk thats much less relevant imo.

The PS3 still sells really well in the UK, especially in the last 2 years there has only been a small gap between it and the 360, this week its less than 1000 units (360- 8,300k vs ps3- 7,700k . With the ps4 being a lot cheaper, I find it hard to imagine that the X1 will lead in UK. Maybe at launch with all the core Xbox fans, but not in the following months.

Not to niggle, but you might want to edit that to be more accurate, i.e. IGN reported that the ps4 outpreordered the Xbone 3 to 2 for the 3 days monday-wednesday of E3.

Which whilst impressive, is far closer than you'd expect from online forums. Just goes to show really.
