Forums - Microsoft - Forza 5. Holy Crap Showfloor Gameplay. WOOOOWWW

It looks good, but the lighting and bloom kill it. It's something forza has never been able to get right.

If you told me that was a 360 game i would not call you a liar. I put it down to the videos poor quality.

LOL.

Thats the best visuals Ive ever seen. The lighting is unbelieveable. The draw distance and quality of detailed scenery makes Forza 4 and GT6 look so bad it isnt even funny.

Look at the GT6 shot in this thread. It looks bare, bland and the lighting what we thought was good looks seriously bad in FM4 and GT6.

I have to agree.  The backgrounds, especially when there is a crowd or grass involved, hell about everything, looks a lot better on the newer hardware.

But that's my thing, I think I'm in a minority when I say the great new graphics of these consoles coming out doesn't impress me on it's own.  I never played a great game on PS3 or 360 and said, "man, if only the graphics were even better."  Don't get me wrong, I welcome the added processing power.  But here's hoping the devs remember what makes a great game.

Can you play as normal street cars in Forza 5 or only supercars, etc.?

From what I *see* it's not. I don't say they don't have the same quality but, again, *every* game does occlusion culling, for example. And every game does lod with different models. It is useless to discuss about it: you can clearly see that in my pic the car doesn't have 500k polys so there is another model of the car used. Why should GT5 do it otherwise?

Please give me a link to thread on GAF...

First of all...

The picture you showed before saying the car at front that you said to that have low polygon count... how can you say that from low quality picture? and what car it that?

About the links... that is discussed everytime in a GT5 x Forza thread... I think it is possible to have a low LOD model for cars that are not in the screen (I can't see that) but I have absolute certain all cars are the same when you get close to it even if you put 16 cars close one to each other in GT5.

I will search for the links for you.

No ethomaz, it's ok, really. Of course they change models if they reach a far distance and nothing is wrong with it, because you don't see it. That's the trick of lod.

This thread is about Forza5 and it's awesome :)

It looks good, but in another forums we have made a vote of the most interesting E3 games and this and The crew were the games people were the least interested in. It doesnt excite me.

Let me throw some dirt here and say a new member called "multimedialover" is highly sugestive if you ask me. Just watch out guys. Microsoft has been releasing agents.

Don't know yet so far only 15 cars have been confirmed through video evidence.

I was really impressed with Forza at E3.

@OP

Dont take this the wrong way, but are you Selnor returned?

@ nem

cmon really.

i guess if you love forza or gt this game is more exciting.

but visually i love how the lighting now affects your driving like real life.

So many murdered bugs.

I can't wait until we get a 1080p direct feed gameplay vid of this. It's QUITE beautiful.
