Too bad, I was hoping they found a way to implement it. But like stinky said they will only do it if it behaves like in the real world

I'm fine with it not having a weather cycle. But at least it should have had a day and night cycle and nighttime racing since Forza Horizon had that and Turn 10 helped out with that game. Also the game has working headlights which can be seen in the reveal trailer so its pretty stupid to not include nighttime races.

Why wouldn't I care? Do you know me personally or something?
I understand not putting dynamic weather in it at launch if you are perfectionists, but a day/night cycle has been pretty much a standard for ~7-8 years (?) now and isn't too complicated to develop.

Agreed I'm pretty sure they could have borrowed some people from Playgroud Games to help them implement a day/night cycle they made a pretty decent one for Forza Horizon.

I don't think this is true: Of course they are able to do so, in my opinion. The question is only why they didn't but that's not a question of capability, for sure. I guess it's time or even intentionally.

They have a contract with Microsoft to have a Forza game out every two years, so either they didn't have enough time or the game is rushed. |
I don't think contract is the right word, they are a part of Microsoft Game Studios, not an independent developer
Anyway, it doesn't really matter does it? I maintain that Forza isn't really competing against DriveClub, this is a simulation and DriveClub is an arcade game, more similar in style to Forza Horizon without the open world-ness. GT6 is only on PS3, so they have a clear window to win over simulation fans without needing to put these features in

To GT6, Forza is also an arcade-racer :)

Please... I'm just giving my opinion about that game... not get too upset.
The lack of day/night and weather in Forza 5 is big due fact that was one of the most requested feature from the Forza's fans in the surveys I read in specialized Forza's sites.
The AI part can be the definitive plus for the game if implemented correctly... I'm looking for that feature.
Now a personal opinion... I really hate how Turn 10 don't give the proper importance to wheel support... they created Forza series to play with controllers and not wheel... that's the biggest complain I have with the franchise and seems like Forza 5 will not change that... racing sims have to be best played with wheel and not controllers.
Now can hate me guys
