Well, VG247 isn't the most reliable of sources, and they didn't outright state that multiplayer will require PS+.

But if they do go with it... it's a bit of a dick move, but it's not a disaster. PS+ is a fantastic deal already, and I would get it whether or not it was required for multiplayer.

I was super excited for the PS4 reveal, but this killed it entirely for me. I stopped buying and playing games on my 360 because i didn't want to pay for Gold anymore and I hated being locked out of the content on the disk I paid $60 for.

That's when I started gaming heavily on PC.

Now Sony is doing this as well... PC and Wii U for me, then.

I am disappointed, but i already have PS+ so it still is not the worst thing especially since there will be no DRM, still peeved that they did this.

I don't play online Muilitplayer so I don't care about that.

While i don't particularly like that, I'll get PS+ for multiplayer mainly cause it isn't just to play online, but you get a shit ton of value for it, dare I say, more than on Live.

Is is a deal breaker? Hell no. Does it bug me? Yeah, it does but you can't get it all, I'm learning that the hard way. I still get the used games stuff, no connection requirements. It will do.

I'm really disappointed with this. But I guess I'll have to get over it.

In all honesty, as someone who has had a Live subscription since Gears of War released, its nothing major.

Embrace it guys. Plus, with PS Plus you get so many deals. Will be worth it in the end no matter what youre after.
