I don't believe that there is or isn't life outside Earth because there's no proof of either way. That said, our universe is just so big that I find it quite unlikely that there would be no other life besides us. Not that my stance on this whole thing matters because life becoming out of lifeless is very unlikely, which might just counter the size of the universe nicely, and I have no idea how to calculate the actual probability of life existing outside Earth.

I've seen a UFO also. However, according to friend we were tripping on mushrooms that night. I think he has his events wrong because I don't remember it as the night we tripped on shrooms. It was a helicopter looking thing (only thought it was helicopter because that is what I assumed it to be at first but there was no sound). However, it started sending off lights that no regular helicopter would have (police helicopters usually have white, blue, red blinking lights while this thing pretty much glowed purple, other weird colors, etc...) Anyways, I remember it hovering and then all of a sudden a bolt of lightning shot out from under it (kind of like War of the Worlds but under the craft). I made a comment like they were planting their babies to interbreed with humans. It did this a few times (in a few different locations not too far apart) then after hovering slowly it just changed direction and pretty much disappeared (went so fast I was like there is no way that is man made). According to my friend we were tripping but this is engraved into my mind. I also saw a ghost with same friend (he believes in ghost a lot but I'm more of I don't really care if they exist) which we were basically sober at the time (about to smoke weed in car and only had a few beers). It takes me a few beers usually to admit the story but the main thing that makes it real to me is remembering my hairs on my arms and back of neck standing straight up (like ghost was pulling energy from us or had a strong electrical field, almost like a lightning strike would cause your hairs to stand up, I've hardly ever had the hairs on back of my neck stand up so this is engraved into my memory). I could go further into the story if you want but I'll leave it at that.

They believe in an entity up in the skies, throwing wishes willy-nilly but aliens in other planets in our immense and seemingly endless universe is pure blasphemy. Now that kind of logic is undeniable.

There is life out there, the Universe is just too big and just too old to NOT have any other kind of life besides the life found on Earth.
That said, the problem is that THERE IS MONEY TO BE MADE OUT OF BELIEF, that leads to bogus ufologists, fake abductions, tv programs like Ancient Aliens and all sorts of mockery and lies.
The ones that watch us probably see that as a sign of our imaturity and stay as far away as possible.
Here and there some appear, as acidents or with some mercifull purpose, but, 99,9999999% of sightings, contact and anedoctal evidence of UFO and aliens are all lies.

I was on a 757 plane traveling from Trinidad, to New York City in 1998.

I looked out from the window from my seat and the sky looked a bit redish/purple on my side, and near the plane tail section there was a bright glowing orange/redish sphere like object that looks to be as big as a small car. To confirm that it wasn't the sun, I looked at the other windows from the opposite side from myself and the sky was normal blue color, and then when I gazed out my window again, the sphere was gone.

There is a guy who single-handedly pulled a 300k pound aircraft with a rope.
Do you really think that a pyramid would confound builders? We know they used logs. We know they had oil. What's so hard to imagine?

To butt in on the Pyramid talk, which makes this response also relevant to S.T.A.G.E and some others.

The 'Pyramid' as a structure around the world is easily explainable. The key is the form factor. Basic forms in existance are the Cube, the Sphere, the Cylinder and the Pyramid. Everything in the world is build up (at it's core) from one of these forms.

So why a Pyramid? Simple, this form is the only one that's structurally stable by nature. The others aren't. If you were to build such a large object as a Pyramid (especially the Egyptian ones), the only form you can choose is the pyramid form, because everything else would collapse!

To return to the Egyptians, they experienced this themselves. They started with smaller 'mastabas' as grave structures, these were basically cube forms. When pharaos became more powerful, they wanted bigger and bigger graves for themselves (essentially it was one big pissing contest). However, the bigger graves got, the more unstable the structures became and builders experimented with each consecutive grave structure to come up with a better way to build bigger structures. This is evidenced by several existing pyramids in Egypt; the 'step pyramid' which was basically several mastabas (cube forms) stacked on top of each other to create height, and the 'bend pyramid' where they smoothed out the steps and realised a certain angle of wall grants greater stability and thus again greater height. It's not farfetched to assume other cultures came to the same discoveries.

To answer the title question... No, I consider people who think there is no other life in the universe blatantly stupid.

Its a mathematical fact. There is absolutely without question no possibility that life does not exist out there and if our single planet was capable of "intelligent" life, then there are many many others as well.

Okay it makes sense considering it is the most structurally sound for something to go high up. However, no one can explain Stonehenge and how such primitive people were able to move and lift such stones/boulders. You would need over 20,000 people for some of these boulders. Also, the stones in Stonehenge were moved from miles away.
