To be brutally honest, I brought this upon myself. Several moderators have come now to share their condolences and they have all said the reason why I didn't get the job, and it was because of not being regular enough with Luigi's Mansion online. If I hadn't, well, you never know.

But in the meantime, I'd like to congratulate all three of these members for their contribution to the site, and, indeed, their promotion to moderators. For now I'll keep reporting people (I assumed it was anonymous!) in order to make the job of the moderator easier, and I hope everyone else does the same. Because, you know, I'm sure they'll be another recruitment chance in the future!
