They will discontinue it :o I'm calling it.

Are you talking Sony? After VgChartz posts the latests charts, PS3 will unofficially be in 2nd place.
If anyone really really wants to be 2nd, its probably Microsoft. Being the 3rd place console this gen doesn't sounds as much of an achievement on paper.
2nd place in the 6th gen, 3rd place in the 7th. It sounds like a negative until you look at the actual sales.
well good that they are supporting cause i am sticking with my 360 and never even touching the xbox one

Depends on what you mean "support". They won't release any 1st party games for it, at least nothing major. The majority of the Xbox marketing budget will go to X1. So in reality, its really just the 3rd parties that will be really supporing the 360.
Xbox One games will be playable on Xbox360 confirmed!

I think for this holiday until maybe the next they will support it pretty good and then after that it will be the occasional thrown bone for the next couple of years. 3rd party should continue to at least decently support it for the next few years as well.
The only thing that could do that is keep having games coming.
Most likely won't happen, but cloud gaming would be great. Like a service similar to OnLIve.

I fully expect this through streaming.

That's why rankings tell don't tell you very much.

X360 is selling what, upwards of 8.5M this year? 77M already sold, 24M kinects shipped, XBLA doing well and retail software still boasting 85-90M+.
Why exactly would MS and third party stop supporting the X360? O.o
