can't wait for more Nintendo games so I'm pretty excited for the gen

Not sure why people are assuming Sony no used is a lockout. Remember the Vita memcards people.

As for me....HD Nintendo for the 1st time and diagonal walking are the only things leaving me hopeful for the industry right now.

I agree that so far we haven't seen much to get overly excited about. But hopefully after E3, when we see the games things will be better for all three consoles

I mean PC gaming is pretty awesome. Free-to-Play MMOs and free games all around? PC gamers are spoiled rotten.

Well now I'm glad GT6 is coming to ps3. If Xbox One is going the digital permissions route with games I would think the big software houses will pressure Sony into a similar system.

With GT6, Dark souls 2, and all the other exciting stuff still coming this gen, next gen can wait a while longer until the smoke clears up. Not feeling a day 1 purchase anymore this time. (Looks at WiiU patiently waiting for Rayman legends)

Hopefully E3 will clear things up, may 21 certainly didn't.

To be honest.. im more excited for the Ps4 than the Xbox One..

As I previously stated, I have been somewhat disappointed with current gen as it started a push towards social media style entertainment.

Also for those who do enjoy the entertainment box angle in their gaming system, looking at XBOX ONE presentation, I can see this console only working in the USA targeted at the sports crowd lol. All those online services are nowhere NEAR the same outside the USA.

I dont mind paying, and really even in the PC world id rather pay it all upfront and not with dlc (true expansions are fine) but i dont want them to dick with me after purchase,

console used to be. buy- go home play... maybe have to blow on cart, or wipe of disc...

now its buy, buy season pass, go home enter in codes, install if you want or might be manditory  , play online until server is shut down or if your lucky and its peer to peer until no one else plays, keep playing single player forever, or loan to a friend and get it back later

. in the future its buy, go home install, codes, play online until shutdown... try to play single player but there has been a 2 day network outage so you cant, or loaned a game to a friend ... he does not play it cause that costs X dollars 

I agree with this. PS4 has me slightly interested. However just like M$ (well maybe not quite as bad as microsoft) they seem to be releasing games for their big IPs every single year. Think God of war, and what not. I wish they would sit back and release games in an IP every 2-3 years. Its the same with MS. They keep releasing Halo and Call of Duty and forza every year and think that will satisfy everyone. Meanwhile the games suck more and more with each iteration.

All in all im just tired of it. Im not going to support and industry that wants to rip me off as a consumer. Anti used games always online etc etc. I dont mind paying for LIVE or things like that but this other BS needs to stop. And to top it off they release shitty specced hardware so it isnt even tempting to leave my PC behind and take a step backwards.

I cant really even see it doing that its not like they announced sunday ticket was comming to the xbox... the NFL thing was confusing and pointless ... really not how to launch a console ... its how to launch a cell phone or tablet or something .... and MS has done soooooooo well in those markets, why not kill brand loyalty of a working product
