even though i dont think we have to wrry at all on ssb controls (3DS), the +pad isnt going to be that good compared to analog

we can do that since the first smash bros, so I'm gonna guess yes.

It's been a while since I've played the original, but in Melee and brawl, the D-pad was used for taunts.
