The thing you're forgetting is that the PS3 was a failure in Japan.

COMG isn't hard to understand, the more points you get, the higher sales will be (most of the time, there are exceptions). More points, more sales. Less points, less sales.

Ps3 did quite well. Similar limited to the Wii in the end. Ps4 doing even better then ps3. The only failures this gen for home consoles are Wii U and XB1.

Before launch yep, though thé sea will turn back Blue just After Switch launch and this for most of thé time, PS4 and some Times 3DS will rule the charts
