Can someone explain to me how the 3DS is destroying the PSVita so badly in Japan? I see more Vita games on COMG then I see 3DS games, and that's quite normal. Is it just the power of MH+YW+Pokemon?

If you talk about the number of games yes if you talk about vita hardware then no it will do terribly bad compared to 2013 and 2014

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Because psvita games are niche and not system sellers compared to 3ds games

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
