Can't forget that most of the Star Wars games have been stellar, like the KOTOR, X-Wing, Rogue Squadron and Jedi Knight series.
Star Wars games have made a mark on the video game industry that is simply unmatched for licensed games.

You forgot the Star Wars Battlefront series!

Force Unleashed sold 8-9 Million.
The LEGO Star Wars games have sold close to 35 Million units.
There is demand for Star Wars games if the games are good. I cant wait to see what DICE can do!

Yep, and the KOTOR lifetime sales incl. the PC version were probably around 3 million, 3.5 million at best (though I even doubt VGC's 2.2 million on Xbox), but hey it's Pachter, and he dooms whole companies and doubles the sales figures of a game whenever he wants. The main problem I see with this guy is not that he's outright lying and spreading misinformation all the time, but that the so-called gaming media never correct him.

Sorry, there have been simply too many great Star Wars games to mention them all in one breath. I even loved playing Rebel Assault, Shadows of the Empire and (gasp!) Yoda Stories.

Pachter post = bug zapper... me = bug.
Why do I keep coming into these posts?
Pachter just assumes nobody was turned into a Star Wars fan after the initial batch in 1977 for some reason.
And lol 7 million Kotor sales. I wish that were true, the game's brilliant.
just because disney is making all these star wars movies, people automatically think there will be a big demand for it. I find this laughable at best. Disney is'nt what they used 2 be. They've had some decent animation movies, but there live action stuff is more of a miss, most of the time. I personally think star wars is far,far past it's prime. It's like beating a dead horse, that died 10 yrs ago.
Ummm... has Pach not seen the sales of the Lego Star Wars games recently??? Battlefront 3 or KOTOR 3 on next-gen systems will be a huge smash.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
