"Freiza was lying. He said he was at 1% of his maximum but he was at 25%. Full Power Freiza had a power level of 12 million. SSJ1 Goku had a power level of 15 million. 1% of his maximum would have been 120,000. That's Ginyu's power level."

That's not all true. For one his power level was 120 million not 12 million. He never said he could destroy a planet at 1%. He destroyed planet Vegeta with a power level of 530,000 less than 0.5% of his full power.

Vegeta with a power level of 18,000 was capable of destroying a planet.

I looked it up. You are right. The initial power levels were mistranslated. It's 120 million for Frieza and 150 million for Goku. Toriyama wasn't kidding when he said he wasn't good with numbers.  That amount of power jump in such a short amount of time is insane.

That screw attack video is stupid.

Goku wins with Kryptonite or removing superman from the sun. If Goku really only cared about beating someone at their best he would have allowed Vegeta to turn into a monkey immediately.

In a fight were Goku is just curious if he can beat superman then sure he may blow up the Kryptonite. However, the more likely scenario being Goku giving superman a chance to leave the fight and if Superman refuses then Goku would try to win at all costs which includes using Kryptonite. If Goku didn't turn SS and marginally beat Frieza without it then I doubt he would let Frieza power up to 100%. Only reason he allowed it was because he beat him decisively and he obtained a new power he was curious about.

Not sure why people are using power levels from DBZ as a reference. They were worthless. That was the main point in including them in the show in the first place. To show that it was worthless to rely on a power level.

Also half the stuff on the show contradicted stuff that happened earlier. And as already mentioned DBGT isn't canon so it can't be used in this. They just wouldn't fight to the death.

Looks like some people in this thread know hardly anything about either character but just because they like one feel like they have to add nothing to the thread by saying one would trash the other.

Well that was just a huge letdown.

Does that include Superman Prime and Goku in either SSJ4 or Super Saiyan God.

Depends, canon only.

Superman Prime....let's not bring him up. He makes Goku, Superman, or any other hero seem like a farmer with a shotgun.

It is a massive jump but there wasn't much of a choice. Goku's power level was 3 million when he started fighting Frieza, using the Kaioken x20 it would be 60 million of which his Kamehameha was still blocked by Frieza at 50% who also would have been around 60 million so obviously at 100% he would be 120 million.

The Super Saiyan transformation is supposed to make you 50x as strong which is why Goku would be at 150 million.

By the Buu saga they would be in the billions.

Then there's Bills guy who defeated SSJ3 Goku and Mystic Gohan like it was nothing. He fights SSJ God Goku and narrowly wins and it's said he only fought at 70% of his full power and this guy Whis is even stronger than Bills.

They could be in the trillions.

I knew there was reason, I liked Dragon Ball better than Dragon Ball Z. Ten Shin Han was an epic fighter in Dragon Ball and only a footnote in DBZ. Even Piccolo becomes useless after the Android Saga.
