He never said he could destroy a planet at 1%. He destroyed planet Vegeta with a power level of 530,000 less than 0.5% of his full power. Vegeta with a power level of 18,000 was capable of destroying a planet. |
I looked it up. You are right. The initial power levels were mistranslated. It's 120 million for Frieza and 150 million for Goku. Toriyama wasn't kidding when he said he wasn't good with numbers. That amount of power jump in such a short amount of time is insane.
