The OP has a thicker skin than a rhino, for those suggesting "get a thicker skin". I have known her personally for more than a little while and can safely say that the post is primarily about the following of the posted rules that are agreed to upon signing up for most forums nowadays and specifically the rules for this forum.

If someone doesn't like the rules, I'm sure /v/ on 4chan would be happy to take in misogynistic commentary accompanied by the ever present calls of "TITS OR GTFO".

This is not 4chan, thus, I don't think it is unfair to have some expectation of the rules being followed.

The problem I see with your posts is that doesn't happen.  Girls dont come into forums and sexually harass males.  It is the other way around.  And who knows what kind of sick Private messages that they get from overly excited guys.  Some jokes are jokes, but some are insulting and common knowldge should be applied in these situations. We just now recently got rid of half nude avatars which should have never been allowed in the first place.  This is the next step we need to take.  This is a game forum.

Same goes to religion.  it often times gets trashed and nothing about it is done.

I didnt say he did, I was using insults as an example of what could offend different people. If you look at my first line, I talk about jokes.

He knew she was female. He made a comment about her PMS (be it in jest or not) and she doesnt like it. 

If I found out you were Jewish and I asked how much money you sold your forskin for, you may find it offensive.

I have been banned twice in a matter of probably 2 weeks but the content of my posts nowhere in the world would've offended a grown and mature adult.

-First ban was because I labeled some Sony games clones...

-Second one was because I commented on somebody's wall with no malicious intention saying that they should make a list of people that have history of trouble so that the new guys could avoid running into them and bam...

I don't understand how could my comments rile up people according to an sarcastic commentator. Never swore on this site, never acted in a predicate way or simply bullied anybody. But I was reported every time somebody didn't agree with my point of view on this site which in my opinion is a form of intolerance.

Galaki's post was not offensive. Galaki's post did not break the rules. Galaki's post was a pun based on your thread title. If you do see anything that offens you, by all means report it. If it's moderatable, it will be moderated. If it isn't, then it won't, and you need to accept that although it was offensive to you, we didn't consider it to be objectively offensive.

I'm going to try to put this as nicely as possible, so I apologise if it still seems a little bit harsh. But we are not here to deal with people being offended. That's far too subjective. We are here to maintain a certain level of discourse and keep this site from becoming a giant flamewar. No part of that requires the banning of jokes that certain people find offensive.

Women are more than welcome here. You, personally, are more than welcome here. But that doesn't mean that we are going to bend over backwards to do everything that every user wants us to do. That is not feasible.

the amount of posts insulting christian or insulting jesus buggs the living shit out of me, im not even christian. im muslim, and its even worse for me. personally i tend to ignore most insults towards my race and religion, but i would understand how others wouldnt. im not saying it doesnt upset me, it does, but i just ignore it.

I wouldnt care.  Why would I?  

I will say though after seeing how up in arms everyone is here about something so trivial it now makes sense why people feel personally offended by debating about their pieces of plastic they play games on. 

Ben, get over the Galaki joke, because this thread is not about Galaki. You must not have read the part in the OP where I said this was not about Galaki and about banning him... I could care less if he got banned. It's not personal and he himself does not make me mad (though I did sternly ask him to consider his behavior). I've reported the posts and honestly... all I expect is the comment is amended and deleted. We should be able to come to some understanding, hey... that joke was not very funny. Do you mind removing it? Instead of removing the jokes, people here instead resort to making EVEN MORE JOKES and taunting the girls as if they are the ones whining...

Honestly, you're whining a heck of a lot for saying we're the ones who should have a thicker skin. I am trying to address the overall discussion level, not just anti-female this and that... I am not even close to that high-strung about it.

Please stop going off-topic and ranting about whatever it si you want to make issues about it... but that is not it. The issue is the frequency, the fact these jokes follow every female member on this site, the insensitivity and the complete apathy by many many many many people here who just think... "Oh get over it". Yeah... right.

Then why have moderators? Why have rules? Why not have a big rule somewhere that says "Hey, if we don't feel like moderating it, it's because you just need to get over it". I can accept that. And you know what, I would leave the site LOL! But it would be clearly stated, that that gutter level of conversation is completely acceptable/encouraged.
