150€ for the DS vs 170€ (admittedly they had to cut the price first) for the 3DS is not a big difference in my eyes. It might seem unfair to compare post price-cut and pre price-cut prices, but after 2 years in the market this is (was) the price for each console.

I dunno, it hasn't really gained traction with teh cazualzzz in the US/EU like the DS did. Perhaps not coincidentally, the DS is still selling surprisingly well there, especially in the US. Once the DS dies for good, those people could migrate to the 3DS for a later in life bump.

And unlike the Wii, which died from developers' (and Nintendo's own) apathy, the 3DS is pretty stinky with games.

Back when Vita was announced, a lot of that confidence came from the fact that the price was equel to the 3DS at the time. Nintendo quickly fixed that though.

honestly, PS VITA have a good potential esp if the 3DS fail its 2nd generation...
I want a 3DS that has a better web interface. I want a 3DS that can play 3D movies or videos from youtube or netflix... a better connection to my 3ds friends

The fact is that the 3DSXL, which is 199€, outsells the regular 3DS... And if i recall NDS launched at 150€, just kept the initial price for a longer period of time because of the high demand.

Yeah, that's what I wanted to state in my post.

Hope this isn't serious.. That's like saying PC's have won the console war.
